The autoimmune disease systemic Vasculitis Churg Strauss is associated with the presence of anti-neutrophil (antineutrophil cytoplasm antibodies-TERI Weigel) that may have lead to severe asthma, fever, Eosinophilic, renal and cardiac insufficiency, peripheral neuropathy; many patients develop pulmonary infiltrates, sinusitis, hypertension, abdominal pain, diarrhea, skin lesions (Purple, subcutaneous nodules).
L & #8217; asthma is the presenting symptom in most patients.
ENT evaluation can demonstrate the presence of rhinitis and nasal polyps framing stage.
The role of & #8217; Otolaryngologist may be important to clarify the diagnosis due to nasal polypoid growths of endometrial biopsy and #8217;: quick and safe outpatient procedure.
The ENT specialist will have to try and treat symptomatic therapy nasal problems and treating any complications. Surgical approaches to sinusitis should be evaluated very carefully given the greater tendency to recurrence of polyps in these patients and given the Comorbidities dates from the same disease.

Rinolito

Nasal Endoscopy

Nasal Endoscopy is a non-invasive outpatient procedure of exploration of the nasal cavity by means of a rigid endoscope or fiberscope. The procedure is generally well tolerated and causes a slight annoyance. Sometimes you may need to use local anesthetic and/or decongestant to reduce swelling of the mucous membranes and make more accessible the exploration of the nasal cavities. Continue reading

Cocaine is a drug with anesthetic and vasoconstrictor effect, hired mainly for nasal.
Cocaine reduces the vascularization of the mucous membranes that crosses causing a major pain (Fig 2). The mucous membranes of the nasal septum and, subsequently, of the entire nasal cavity and nasopharynx go necrosis. You have a repair attempt with abundant secretions and scabs. In most cases the continuous exposure to this drug leads to a complete destruction of structures. In other cases, scarring attempts lead to the formation of granulation tissue (Fig 3) that tends to clog and completely close the nasal passages making breathing impossible.

Carcinoma of the nasal vestibule

Rare cancers of the nasal vestibule are malignant neoplasms that originate from the skin of the nasal vestibule, initially they give a very limited symptoms that can become quite painful if infiltration of cartilages andirons and/or bacterial superinfection.
To confirm the diagnosis requires a biopsy sampling, You also ascertain by radiological studies that the disease has given locales or lymph node metastases.
Treatment is surgical and typically requires an excision wide enough to ensure safety in Oncology.
Once removed, the disease can recur to prosthesis or surgical reconstructions using flaps.

Inverted papilloma

Inverted papilloma or schneideriano is a generally benign neoformation polypoid sinus ethmoidal cells or from which originates the maxillary sinuses and commonly cause symptoms when it cantilevers out in nasal cavity.
Despite the benign histological nature, inverted papillomas are able to infiltrate the adjacent structures, deforming and eroding bone structures.
